Visit the "Apple Dumpling Capitol of the World, " and take in the 2008 Barry
Apple Festival!!!
All you'd want from a hometown celebration
and more. The crowning of the queen, Little Miss Apple Blossom, and Master Apple
Jack start off the affair. Various entertainment acts are offered on stage the
entire weekend. Apple pie, apple fritters, fresh apples,, and a selection of
other great food make the Apple Festival a diner's paradise. Saturday brings the
magnificent mile parade through the streets of Barry. Sunday, a chicken dinner
gets everyone in the mood for one of the largest car shows in the area.
