Barry Public Library

The Barry Public Library was founded in 1856 as a private corporation. In 1894 it was donated to the City for tax support. The present library was built in 1904 with funds from Mrs. B. D. Brown.

For the genealogist who is researching Pike County roots, the library has basic materials to help get the search started. Information from the Barry Adage is available covering the years 1871 - 1971.
